Initial Legal Consultation

Legal situations involving drug offenses require a clear understanding and prompt action. To facilitate an initial case assessment and discuss preliminary matters, I offer a preliminary 30-minute legal consultation, online via Microsoft Teams or in person at my Bucharest office.

This service is designed for individuals facing charges such as: possession for personal use, trafficking, driving under the influence of psychoactive substances, or any other offenses under drug-related legislation.

The Scheduling Procedure:

  1. Choosing a Time and Paying: Choose the consultation format, then a date and time from the available slots (appointments can be booked at least 24 hours in advance). The fee is paid online through Stripe in the same step, and the appointment is confirmed only after payment. You will receive the confirmation by e-mail, with the Microsoft Teams link or the office address.

  2. Conflict of Interest Check: After payment and before the consultation, I will verify that I am not already representing another party in the same case with conflicting interests. This step is essential to guarantee loyal and objective representation.

  3. The Consultation Itself: The 30-minute consultation will take place at the booked time, online or at the office. To ensure a high standard of service, including the security of our conversations, I cannot offer consultations by phone.

Note: If a conflict of interest is identified, I will be unable to take the case, the appointment will be cancelled, and the amount paid will be fully refunded.

Cancellation: If you cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you may choose between a full refund and rescheduling; if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, half of the fee is retained, and if you do not attend, the fee is not refunded. The full conditions are set out in the Terms and Conditions.

Consultation Fee Credit: If, within 30 days of the consultation, a legal assistance contract for the same matter is concluded, the fee paid for the consultation is deducted in full from the fee agreed in that contract.

Objectives of the 30-Minute Consultation:

The consultation is held under the strict principles of confidentiality and professional secrecy. These are guaranteed by law and the Statute of the Lawyer Profession, protecting all information and details communicated within the lawyer-client relationship. This is also known as lawyer-client privilege.

During our meeting, we will aim to:

  1. Outline the Situation: You will have the opportunity to present the details of the issue you are facing.

  2. Preliminary Analysis: I will assess the information provided from the perspective of relevant legislation and judicial practice and will answer any questions regarding the immediate procedural steps or possible legal classifications.

  3. Initial Recommendations: We will discuss the recommended next steps and the potential need for extended legal assistance services, if applicable.
